Tokyo Gas America Ltd. is seeking an organized and proactive HR Coordinator to help deliver an outstanding employee experience. In this role, you’ll coordinate key HR programs, maintain HR systems and employee data, and administer day-to-day workplace technology. You’ll work across the organization to improve processes, support employees, and help our teams succeed.

A Day in the Life
As HR Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting both HR operations and workplace technology. You’ll coordinate employee benefits, maintain HR systems and employee data, support onboarding and offboarding, coordinate workplace technology and company IT assets, and partner with employees, managers, and external IT providers to deliver a seamless employee experience.

What You’ll Do
• Coordinate employee benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries.
• Maintain employee records, HR systems, and reporting in ADP Workforce Now.
• Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, performance management, and job description administration.
• Administer company IT assets and coordinate routine technology support with external IT providers.
• Improve HR processes through better use of systems, automation, and technology.
• Research and recommend technology and AI solutions that enhance productivity and the employee experience.

Work Schedule & Environment
This is a full-time, local-hire position based in Houston, Texas. A hybrid work option is available subject to business needs.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in HR, HR operations, benefits administration, data management, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of HR processes, employee benefits, and HR systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and common business applications.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification, or progress toward certification.
• Basic knowledge of IT hardware, software, and business systems.

Compensation & Benefits
Hourly rate: $30.00–$35.00 per hour, based on qualifications, experience, and market considerations.
