Birdsboro Power Project

Tokyo Gas America Ltd. holds a 33.33% interest in the Birdsboro generation facility alongside its partners, Ares EIF Management LLC, and Sojitz Corporation. It is a 488MW new-build natural gas-fired combined cycle power plant, which uses highly efficient new turbines located in Birdsboro, Pennsylvania.

Birdsboro started its commercial operation in May 2019 and delivers energy into PJM in the northeastern US.
